I have some of our childrens drawings when hey was young. These two Johanna made 1985 or 1986 when she was six years old. I have printed them on fabric and made a quilt. Her two box dogs I made a quilt. i also show your the drawings as it is hard to see all details. Johanna got some help from her younger sister Helena when drawing the boat

What a great idea. My youngsters are 48 and after moving, I no longer have some of their drawings. That would have been fun to do, specially since I had figured out how to transfer onto white cotton, with my laser printer. No need to purchase special cloth

These are great. I started squares of white and had each grandkid draw something then I pressed the crayons in the fabric. It was started with my now 29 y/o and to end with my now 13 y/o. Finally made it into a 4 block wallhanging. I don't know if I ever posted it but was started in 2002 and finished it. I just bought drawer pulls to hang on the wall [husband to hang] and get this hung on my wall. It has been done a long time just not hung as I wait for his time to do it. I wonder which one will get it---yours and mine too.

What a wonderful idea and nice memory. What does Johanna think of these quilts?
