We have had snow falling for three days straight here in western Michigan. This is a picture from our front door and one from our back sliders. It is pretty, but very cold 15 degrees F. My sweet hubby and I were lucky to be able to receive our first Covid vaccination on Saturday. But, we, with about 30 other people had to stand outside in 18 degree F weather. We managed, as did everyone else and we all knew how fortunate we were. Hugs to all, Laura

No matter how cold and snowy we have it here in Western Michigan - I know, you, in Canada, are having it much colder than us!! Hugs and stay warm! Laura

Wow! I have not seen that much snow in years. What did the groundhog say? Spring is on time this year, though it does not look like it where you are.

Groundhog said 6 more weeks of Winter. We haven't seen sunshine in 2 weeks. Sunday is suppose to be a high of 12 degrees F. But, this is typical Michigan Winter weather. Hugs!!

The snow looks so beautiful but I remember my younger years in England and how cold it was when it snowed.. keep warm and mind you don’t fall.

We don't go out very much with the pandemic - so when we do, we are careful. Still snowing here! Stay safe! Hugs, Laura

It looks so pretty in the picture. Sometimes I miss the snow. I remember how quiet it would be and the smell in the air. However It is not so much fun having to look for your car and shoveling the snow out of the way. Stay safe and warm. Hugs

Yes, it is quiet and lovely - I think, if I lived away from it for a while - I would probably miss it too! Thank you - stay safe! Hugs, Laura

Well done Laura, I'm so glad you got a vaccine. Whilst you guys are freezing up in the northern hemisphere, we're having a wet and humid Summer down under. It's actually raining here as I write this 8.20 (Wednesday morning). Trevor is just about to take the girls to school, which is a 16 minute drive away, with certain parts outside schools where you have to slow down to 40kph. Yesterday was hot at 29C and today its back down to 23C. Weird weather all round. Keep warm and safe. Love Chris

We are lucky that our heat system is great. One year - while my hubby was traveling for work - we lost our power. Our second oldest kiddo was to take important tests at school the next day. So, I bundled up our crew and rented a hotel room that was warm and toasty. I wanted to be sure Alex would have a good nights sleep. I'll send some cold air your way - lol. Hugs, Laura

The pictures are gorgeous! I love to look at pictures but glad we don’t get it often. We are supposed to get really cold weather in a few days. Eleven degrees is one forecast and that’s almost unheard of here. I do hope they are wrong as I don’t do well being cold.
We finally got our appointment yesterday for our 1st vaccine. Glad y’all were able to get yours.

Maybe your cold weather won't last too long - where as, we can expect a bunch more!! We get what is called "Lake Effect" snow. Lake Michigan is warmer than the air - which means, we get dumped on with bunches of snow!
Happy you and your hubby got your vaccination. It is hit and miss here - so we were lucky.

As I said the other day, Covid keeps redefining words. Who would have ever said they were fortunate to stand in line in 18 degrees? Wow! The coldest we have had this year in Alabama is 28 degrees, and I'm hoping that one cold night set some blooms for my daffodils.

Betsey, I know what you mean - who would have thought! I figure it is better we didn't know - I don't think I would have believed it! Sending some cold weather your way, Laura

I grew up in Michigan and the photos made me homesick! Yes, winter is my favorite season! There's nothing happier than a dog jumping though snow with such joy!

I know that sight - but, no fun trying to clean and dry that dog up afterwards. Our old dog would have snowballs handing on her fur after romping around in the snow! Hugs to you!

Similar to us, also in West Michigan. We have a Retriever/ husky mix who is loving the snow. She is like a rabbit jumping through the snow as the snow is up to her belly and deeper in some places!

My hubby cleared a spot for our mini Golden Doodle. Otherwise, she would be lost in the snow! Hugs!
