thank you for your post. By the way, that's a very long place name....
Thank YOU!! I have never heard about Wales!! I just thought of it as a place near Scotland. It sounds wonderful! What do people do on St. David's Day??
That must the longest place name in the world!
I love your wonderful story. You are very lucky to keep the Celtic language alive. God Bless
How interesting! Thanks for sharing. I so miss the daffodils I had in my yard before moving to Texas. They don't like it here.
Check out Brent and Becky's daffodils - they can tell you which daffodils will thrive in your plant zone.
Thank you for the information. I do have a Narcissus that blooms here, but I miss that bright yellow of the Daffodil.
When my son was in fifth grade he was about to do a singing tour of England, Scotland and Wales with the Atlanta Boy Choir. After ten days without us, his first words off the plane were "I'm going back." His favorite sites were in Wales. He hasn't been back yet, but I think he'll get there.
Thanks for sharing. I love learning something new. I had never heard of this holiday or seen the national costumes. But I have visited Wales and I think it is one of the most beautiful areas on earth. I wish I could go back.
I must have not paid attention in the past when you had posted it. It is very interesting and I thank you for all the explanations. I am so glad I do not live in the town with the longest name. Just the thought of having to pronounce it makes me shutter. Always learning something new.
Pronouncing could be bad, but I can't imagine trying to fit it on an envelope for a return address every time I sent a letter or filling out a form.
We did a tour of England, Scotland and Whales back in the late 1980's...Whales was my favorite part of that entire 28 days....
Hi Kim, I hope you meant "Wales" and not the kind that lives in the ocean (whale) he he he!!!! Love Chris
Thanks for sharing this information. Learned something today. Thank you
