Hi Jenne, I'm working on a black, white and red bag from Sweetpea. It's been raining non stop since Friday, so I'm loving it. Love Chris
Running out of thread is Frustrating. Here is my thread story. Last year, at Christmas, I was working embroidery blocks for a table runner for a Christmas present. It was the first time using a metallic thread and it kept breaking and it was not going to work at all. I was on my last block and out of fabric. Finally, I realized the 30 on spool was not the color number but the weight. At this point I am running out of time to get it finished before Christmas. Living in a small town there are not many choices, so I went to the local quilt shop where they also have embroidery thread, but no metallic, luckily the Joann's store carries Sulky, not exactly the same but close enough. The project turned out nice.
I'd say that is worse than running out of bobbin thread a couple inches from the end! Praying your thread gets there soon!
This the very small spools of sulky variated, #2105 I think this is the prettiest variated you can buy has only 250 yards on a spool and is about $9.00 a spool.
Yikes, that's really expensive... Our JoAnn's Fabrics sells it for $5.49 per spool, and then usually a 50% off coupon knocks it way down....
