I see that Veronika has added a new button to the Bookmarks section. Maybe we should try to put all of the design links in this section.

I seldom get a chance to go to the bookmark section and I enjoy being told in the Q & A section when there is something new to DL on a site. *4U

I think Meg is on the right track. there r duplicates & it can b confusing *4 u Barb. Since all the problems with Quilters, even though I didn't DL any of the designs, unless I know it's definitely a legit site I hesitate to get anything I don't already know from the bkmrks

That could create more problems than you may think AunBaba, as, very often, i have noticed, the person posting the link has not checked first to see if has already been posted previously by others. I always try a search now since i too have been guilty of this oversight. There are so many duplicates posted in bookmarks the whole thing has become cumbersome, even with search tags. Often too, newbies, post things, trying to be helpful, but probably before they fully understand, or have checked out, the whole site here and seen the wealth of information already available. We may solve one problem and end up only creating another. LOL! hugs n roses, M

Don't you think - that if there was a way - to post the info - correctly - that once the file was entered - it would say - entered or something to that effect - that the bookmark area would work out better for all those involved? If it had to be OK'd to post it - cleared so to speak - that in the long run - the bookmark area would be a very good tool and area for all the file info? Or do you think - all that info should be junked and start a different system??

Barb, that was the general idea in the beginning to do that - but some have gotten away from that - it sure would leave the Q&A area for just that!

Yes and repetition is such a huge problem, that now, I just couldn't be bothered searching through 54 pages of bookmarks. Pity really because it started out as such a great idea, but i think it has fallen down because, in the beginning, duplicates weren't being vetted and tags weren't assigned.ONLY my opinion of course!! hnr, M

I agree, Meganne, I go to the bookmarks only to check the first page and don't bother to look through the rest. Too cumbersome.
