Your yard is beautiful and the pump caught my eye right away. We had one when I was growing up, which supplied our water for everything. Had to be primed. We even watered our garden by pumping into buckets and carrying to plants. Oh, my, glad we don't have to do that any longer...…….lol
Vkggal, when we built our house, because we like the old look, hubby said he was going to install this pump for the kitchen. -lol- I might like the old ‘look’ like him but I like the new uses.
My yard used to look better when I was able to work flower beds. Now I just have shrubbery that blooms year after year. Thank you though, the green spring sure looks better than the dead winter.
I can remember when we hid eggs in grade school, what fun, I hope u enjoyed it has much.
So glad you got to spend time with the family Toogie. You deserve it! I do pray that all goes well with your hubby, By now the appointment will be over. God bless, love Chris
I had a great day without being overly tired as most holidays. Even though we enjoyed it, the day was very relaxing.
Lovely memories for your Grand children. We hid eggs for ours one year and they had secret messages to find them. They thought that was great and they both got the same amount of eggs so no fighting.
Hope your hubbies doctors appointment goes okay and he gets good results. Hugs
That’s a good idea with the messages. Hubby has another appointment the 29th. Hopefully we get good results then, thank you.
That is so awesome that the Easter Bunny came to your house for a visit! We got together with a few family as well. The Easter Bunny didn't show up, but he left some clues for the kids to follow to find a surprise. It was fun to watch them figure out the clues. It was a good time, but also sad as it was the first real get together since losing family to COVID. Hope everyone is staying well.
Ours are still too young to follow clues but that’s a good idea for future hunts. Sorry you lost family too.
What a fun day for the kids of all ages. That was nice of the Easter Bunny to pop in for a visit.
I'm so glad your hubby is going to be checked out. Prayers going up for him and for you too.
Gosh toogie the Easter bunny visiting in person how special. The past year has been so different. How good to catch up in person with your son in laws mother after a year, hopefully there was lots to chat about. Someone said hello to me the other day while out and it took me a second or two to work out who it was. Difficult with facemasks on and sometimes hats when its wet and cold.
Your pictures are great. Today we have had snow, my older daughter was at work all yesterday as the hospital theatre doesn't shut as they never know when there is an emergency
One year when one of the local Walmart’s were informed by one of their workers, Ashley did an Easter fundraiser for Avery’s needs, they donated the Bunny suit. This was the first year, she came here as some of kids were too little.
You are right about hard to recognize people with mask unless you know the voice. Good thing is I don’t bother with makeup- lol
I think getting requests are a big compliment. I am sure you are going to fill them. Glad you had a nice Easter and had a chance to have family. join you.
I can’t express the joy my heart held by having the family here. We had plenty to eat without wearing ourselves out with cooking and dishes. We grilled hamburgers and hot dogs, coleslaw, potato salad, banana pudding and tea cakes.-lol - it was only 17 here (counting me & dh) because our oldest daughter and some of the grown grandkids didn’t come.
