I am glad you are able to get out more. I am still so careful about crowds. I still pray for you and your family. I hope you still keep up with us and let us know when you get the sewing feeling back again. It has been hard for me to sew and embroidery for the last 6 years, but I am trying. Your quilts are always so beautiful. I say yes to catfish but not sure about that couvillion. Stay safe and healthy, hugs, Suzanna
Thanks Suzanna. Catfish were good (and Couvillion!)😁
Still wear our mask when we go out but crowds make me uncomfortable too so avoid them, as much as possible. We still only make necessary trips. By ‘our’ necessary means monthly grocery shop, doctor visits and being with our immediate family for special occasions (Easter, Birthday). We tried church but not comfortable with that many, mostly unmasked people. Hopefully soon. Good to see your comment, hear from you.
I just wrote this big reply and then the connection was lost and so were all those words.
Now I just want to send a hug. Stay well.
Sounds like that has what’s happened to me before. I think if it takes me to long and I hit submit, it just circles and circles and then it’s lost🙄😫
So o o I try to copy it BEFORE I hit submit. Then if it happens, I refresh page & just start with a new comment by pasting!😃I didn’t say I always remember though😟 once I had written, like you, a long reply. I was so aggravated I think I just gave a flower.
Hugs are good though and thanks for the thoughts, whatever they were😂🤣
Toogie great to have a catch up from you. My husband has just had his second jab but I am waiting to hear when mine is. So sorry to hear about Douglas, yes cancer isnt nice. Your family sounds busy too. Keep enjoying yourselves and keeping safe
Thanks for the update. I miss seeing your posts. I have sent you a private message with a design to make for Caleb to get you embroidering again.
I need to take this right to the machine, thanks for the info! It's for Dalton.
Dalton asked for his race car number to be digitized but I don't know the font and he hasn't got back to me with the info. His dad had the graphics done but I'm not sure if he kept up with the order as to what font was used. He doesn't need it this summer for a jacket, so he probably isn't in any hurry to get back to me, with the info. Aggravating......
Families. I have waited a number of weeks to find out what size cushion pad is needed...
I feel your frustration....I have asked someone if they could digitize it, but they need the name of the font and then it's not a sure thing they can digitize it. ugh!
So glad you have been able and comfortable to get out a bit and see some if your friends and family..
Thank you and I hope you are able or soon will be able to see all those nieces and nephews you are so generous to sew and embroidery for.
Teach me something. What is a couvillion? Never heard of it!
Our Couvillion is a red fish gravy you eat over white rice. You can also make it with shrimp but I’m allergic. My husband usually makes it with catfish fillets not heads (I’m scared of bones) but also has used perch or brim ( with bones). The perch or brim give the best favor because they’re stronger.
google it-It may come up like fish stew or something but a red,not brown, gravy. My kids and grands are always saying "Just google it Gram!"
You have been missed so glad to se your post. I'm glad you are feeling safer about going out and about and getting to see your family members. I know how important they are to you. I'm glad your hubby's retina is healed and his colonoscopy is coming up. I know that is a huge weight on your mind. Don't worry about the lack of desire to stitch. Sometimes we just need a rest. I've been resting for way too long but doing other things instead. Enjoy seeing your family and the Springtime flowers.
Thanks Karen I miss you too but glad you’re on the mend. I don’t think I’m good company because I’m so sad about Douglas. I can’t imagine being in Jenny’s place because I feel drained after just a short visit. We do love all our family but our heart really breaks for them.
The kids are good. Little Rylan is here now watching Where The Red Fern Grows. Caleb is in the back with my hubby. Hubby gave him his older 4 wheel drive Toyota pickup for the woods. Hubby doesn’t fish anymore and doesn’t hunt much. Caleb asked to buy truck but you know grandpa’s 😃
