Piano recital last night
What darling photos! I'm glad you went and I'm sure you'll remember this day as time seems to move so fast with young children. I feel sorry for the children that did not have a "normal" year, but glad to know her lessons continued and they were glad to be back to having recitals again.
Her other grandmother is her piano teacher. All I know I can do with a piano is dust it- lol- There is an older young guy that I could listen to all day. He played Married Life from Up by Giacchino this time. I spoke with him afterwards because I know his parents and told him how I do so enjoy hearing him play.

Looks like they had so much fun! And so nice, they could finally show off what they have learned!
Oh they did have a good time as did we. Nora got an award so that gives them encouragement to keep pursuing their dream.
How much fun for you and all...can't believe Nora has grown up so fast...seems like yesterday you were telling us of her birth! You must be so very proud!
She is such a sweetheart and seems bright without being a âsmarty pantsâ. She is still shy until she is around you a while. Time sure does fly!
Oh, that darling little prissy doll! I know you loved seeing her dance. It's so wonderful to be able to leave the house again!!
Yes it is! Piano recital was last night at their church. The Disney Plus Recital started with Nora playing Swan Lake by Tchaikovsky. Her cousin Ellie that is also her age (7) played Under the Sea from Little Mermaid.
Oh, I bet you had such fun being there! Nora is growing up way too fast! Nora is beautiful - it looks like she takes her dance seriously and is very focused! Thanks for sharing! Hugs!
She loves dancing and jumps. I am glad she doesnât do tumbling because that scares me. Some of the older kids flipped all the way across the stage, while a couple of the younger ones I was afraid they were going to break their neck. When I told Ashley my concerns she said not to worry about Nora because that would be about 3 extra trips a week for tumbling practice. The studio is a 20 mile trip one way and she already goes enough trips for dance practice. Honestly, I donât know how Ashley does it all, especially having Avery full time too since Covid.
Looks as if everybody, including you, had a good time. I can not believe how much she has grown. A reminder how time flies. I am glad that they were able to continue classes to be able to have this performance.
I really worried when I heard they were meeting for practices so I just kept praying for Gods protection. She will be grown before we know itđŠ
Looks like a great performance and I am glad you went. The costumes are outstanding! The grands grow up so fast.
My goodness, Nora and her mom have been very busy! I'm so glad you were able to see her recital. What a wonderful culmination this had to be in so many ways. She looks so professional, yet still able to enjoy herself. Kudos to Nora and all of the young ladies for a very successful recital.
Thanks Karen, I was so relaxed after the piano recital all last night, I fell asleep on the way home and then came home and slept in my recliner, until hubby was ready for bed. I then slept all night. SLEEP is something I usually canât do very long, but I must have been really tired or really relaxed. đ
My goodness where did the time go, I'm sure it was only last week she was born. Definitely a beauty like her Momma and Sister.
I feel the same sometimes that time is flying. We were away so long at a time last year and when I saw here again my heart cried because she has grown so much.
How can you see her beauty under all that theatrical makeup-lol
I see a lot of little outfits and a huge outlay of money on just the costumes, much less the lessons. Looks like she's having fun with it. I still think of Nora as about three and cuddly!
She is seven now and mother hen to Gus who is four. They sure donât stay little long. Her piano recital is tomorrow night. Iâm thankful they are able to support her in her development and get her to all the classes even though most times Dad is working and itâs all up to mom. That means getting Gus and Avery ready to go too.
