A wonderful job you've done Kim. Of course no one is surprised, because you are so good at figuring out designs.
I am interested in these, as trip gifts, when my niece starts traveling again. I want to have things made ahead and try to keep the cost down. I had been talking to Laura about the ones she does that open from the side. I haven't been to town recently to find the mini notebooks she uses, but I do have some of these flip type. Can your design be made of vinyl, too?
Hi Toogie...thanks for your kind words... These could be made from vinyl with a bit of modification to the ITH design if your hoop is large enough...send me an e-mail...
What an unique idea! Of course you'd be the one to figure out how to do that. Your creativity is amazing, and your project solves a problem that we all sometimes have.
Great idea and of course nicely done as always. This is a very practical item. I bet your friend was really pleased.
Kim, this is beautiful. I brought so many of this type and other types of notebook spirals and smaller type legal tablets home from FL when my sister in law and nephew died. Her husband is in Assisted Living. He used to use all these for scribbling and number writing and all kinds of senseless undecipherable things. They must have bought them by the case. Fancy way to camouflage an ordinary tablet. Love it!
Since nothing can crumple and is certainly good in the hand, well done Kim :-)
What a great idea and kudos to you for being so clever.
Sweet design. This would make an awesome bridal shower gift or a gift for the teacher! Another great design. Tonya
Sweet design and I love the fabric!! You are a good friend!
