I pray for her and Jim. Sounds serious but hopefully she has a quick and complete recovery. Thank you for keeping us updated.
Hi Karen, that is encouraging news, but I'll continue praying for her complete healing. I know she has a long way to go, but little steps along the way are wonderful to hear. I'll light a candle for her in Church on Sunday morning again and ask my congregation to pray for them both. Love Chris
thank you for giving us the update. good to read she feels a bit better step by step. Prayers for Vicky and Jim will continue. hope she will be able soon, to do the things she love. Please give her our love and support . Hope she can feel the power of Cuties prayers. Thank you for this post !
I have been under the weather, so am just catching up on everyone. So sorry to hear of Vicki's difficulties. C-Diff is not to be taken lightly. My dad had it and was misdiagnosed for about two months. By the time they finally realized what it was, it had infected his entire colon. They spent two weeks trying to treat it before his entire large bowel was removed. He spent 4 weeks in hospital, two weeks in ICU on a ventilator and had a tacheostomy and then two months in rehab. Prayers and hugs coming your way Vicki.
Prayers still coming their way... Happy to hear the meds are starting to work. C diff leaves you weak and you have to take it slow to gain your strength back. So glad she has turned the corner
I know we both have been working hard to support her so it is so good to know she is doing better.
Sweet of you to let us know how she is doing. Hopefully she is not going to overdo it once she feels a little bit better. Praying for continued recovery.
Thank you so much, Karen for the update!! Continuing positive thoughts, hugs and prayers for both Vicki and Jim!! We will be very relieved when Vicki feels well enough to join us again!! Laura
Thanks for the update. CDiff is most unpleasant and takes time to recover from
You are welcome. And it is so much worse when C. Diff is combined with another intestinal issue.
