Laura, LUCKY you! She's a beauty. Sew long and prosper!
Thank you, Jerrilyn!! Can't wait to get it home and set up. We should be back in Michigan by Saturday. Bunch of hugs to you!
Laura, what an amazing looking machine. I would be terrified. Hope you have many happy sewing hours.
Thank you, Sarah. You are fearless - you would love this machine!! I am looking forward to getting it set up at home! Hugs to you, Laura
WOW, WOW, WOW!!! That is one impressive looking embroidery machine Laura. I would be so intimidated by it! I've never wanted a multi needle machine and am so happy that you have yours and I see a few others on here too. I think these machines are great for those who make and sell their embroidery projects. I hope to see some more of the beautiful work that you always do up here in the Projects section. Happy sewing my friend, love Chris
Oh, thank you, Chris! If it did feel a bit intimidating, it was only for about a minute - once, I put in a hoop with stabilizer, I realized it is so much like a regular machine - in so many ways. It runs like a dream and if anyone deserves a machine like this, with all that you stitch - it would be you. I am looking forward to being able to hoop things that I couldn't hoop in my old machine. Bunches of hugs, Laura
You are so deserving of this machine. I am so happy for you! Show us how you place it in your sewing loft. I love your sewing room. Hope you get years and years of enjoyment from it.
Oh Toogie, how kind!! My kiddos wonder where I will put it - LOL - I will find just the right spot!! Thank you for your very kind words!! Hugs!
Congratulations! You are one lucky lady! I have always wanted a multi needle. Safe travels back to our home state! FYI if you go through Kalamazoo we have lots of road construction on 94.
Thank you, Suzanna! I do realize how fortunate I am! We live on the left side on the mitten - so won't be on 94 - but thanks!!! Don't give up on your wish for a multi needle machine! Hugs, Laura
Congrats. I was thinking how much easier it would be to have a multi needle machine after doing a recent design with 16 thread changes. I am happy for you!! Have a safe trip home.
Thank you Pam! Oh, yes, I have thought the same thing when doing a design with a bunch of thread changes. Thanks again!! Hugs!
Congrats on your new baby! I had a hard time trading in my machine, and it had given me lots of problems. Funny how we can become attached to a sewing machine. But, I do talk to them a lot! I'd love to have a multi-needle machine, but no space to put it.
Thank you, Jan! I had my Elisimo Gold for 10 years and it was time for it to retire as it was beginning to give me problems. Honestly, I still haven't quite figured out where this new one is going in my sewing room - but, I have a few ideas and I will find the room!! LOL Hugs!
Congratulations on a great deal and happy stitching! hugs Maria
The wait is over and now you have your ten needle machine. I hope you have great fun and create some super stuff with it. And yes your clothes will be super packing to protect your new baby while you travel home. We only have a small car but I was able to place my 6 needle machine on the front seat and strap it in with the seat belt when I took it for a service. Made my dealer laugh as no one had done that before and he said he would tell others to do the same
The wait is over! I have been wanting a multi-needle machine for years but, it just wasn't the right time. I love your idea of strapping it in a seat - we might try that for our trip home. We leave next week and all I can think about is how we will get everything home. Thanks you Caroline!!!
I always put my machine on the front seat next to me when travelling to my sewing machine repairman. They are so expensive, I wouldn't want anything to happen to it and having it right next to me I know she's in nice and tight with the seat belt over her. Love Chris
Congratulations on the new Baby at your house! Wow! Have fun.
That is a beautiful machine. Congrats on a great deal and happy stitching!
I have an Intrepid and love it. It is a learning curve but I don't think it will be as bad as you think. Congratulations and have fun.
Debbie - thanks - every day I am learning more and more. It is an amazing machine!!
Oh my goodness, what a wonderful day to get a Babylock Venture. I have an Enterprise and love it, so I know you will be creating many incredible projects. I love to embroider on already made bags. Try it, I know you will love it. I know it had to be hard to give up your Ellisimo though. BTW, be sure to read in the manual how to bring the threading bars on the top. It will make it so much easier to transport it.
I do have some bags to stitch on - and, this machine is going to make it so very much easier!! The store knew we would be transporting it home - so, they showed me how to make it smaller for travel - thank goodness! Thanks so much, Karen!!
Congrats I have a babylock 10 needle and I love it!! IT is easy to use and I do a lot with it. I also have the bablock serger and elissimo gold. Love them all. Just jump in and start.. when you are stuck look it up in the book and you will remember it always. I find them user friendly.
Suzanne, this is great advice! I am not afraid of reading directions or asking questions!! Thanks!!
Well, Congratulations on your new BABY! I am sure it will bring you many, many happy years...Hope you got the large extension table too. I use mine all the time. I also got the 4 year Love to Sew membership and service from any dealer as a part of my purchase package...so glad I had it. Looking forward to seeing many more lovely projects from you...Have Fun!
Thank you - thank you, Kim! I think I just got a normal kinda stand - but, it seems like a good one! I got a bunch of hoops - have to figure those all out! The bundle had 6 rolls of stabilizer, a flat table-top, 10 sets of needles and a bunch of Magna glide bobbins, plus Pallet software (I am an Embird user though) - I am sure I am forgetting something). I have a lot to learn!! Thanks again!
Congratulations on your new machine. Now there will be no stopping you. Looks to be very heavy glad I am not having to move it. Instead of shipping your clothes home use them as packing around your beauty and don't hit any potholes on the way.
Your stitch out is very good.
Thank you, Barbara - my hubby said, no problem, it will all fit fine - but, I know from experience - when he goes to pack the car up - he will be come rather "grumpy"!! It happens every year - even without a huge embroidery machine!!
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!. Now you have to take care of a new baby. When I bought my Enterprize Baby Lock 10 needle the maintenance also is free for some years. I can have someone come to the house and pay a trip fee. Last time it was $75.00. I think I would kill myself would I have to bring this machine down a flight of stairs.
Have fun learning the new baby.
Oh, yes, my friend - my sewing room is upstairs too - my hubby will encourage me to do the same, I am sure!! Thanks!!
