This is a perfect design for your grandson. It is such a hard job. My granddaughter is married to a lineman and when all that stuff happened in Texas with snow and no electricity she as the wife was on her own.
That is so true of the wives. The hours during a storm are unreal and the job is dangerous enough. Anything to do with electricity is dangerous.
Gosh, who'd ever think there'd be a design like this out there! What a great project!
Aren't Cuties wonderful! I'm so glad you were able to get this design. What a perfect way to use the design too. I know anyone who has gone through a hurricane has great respect for these people.
I agree they deserve our respect. We don’t realize they are working long hours and often dangerous situations to help us get our power up and running again.
Cuties are the best! I so glad powagrl remembered and I got the design.
These are a really nice design! My daughter works for our major electric company in our state. Your Grand and all linemen deserve a lot of respect for the job they do! Hugs!
I agree wholeheartedly. The design stitched great! Thanks to Cutie powagrl for being alert and passing on the info.
Those are so nice and doubly nice of you to do for him. Love your comment 'might take orders' so clever.
We will do anything for family and happy when it’s even something small like this. Thank you
Last night a niece called and asked if I was taking orders, making some to sell. I told her if it was for her husband No, I’d make him one , but for someone else I may consider.
Hi Toogie,
You are a gem to do them, I always think of Glen Campbell when I read about your American linemen! Great work as always, love Chris
Wichita Lineman! Lol He is actually on bigger towers than this, but he does like the design. Dalton sometimes sends me a pic or a video because he knows my fear of heights. He makes good money but works long hours and too dangerous, but he loves it. Thanks Chris
Be careful. Bet he has a crew and will be wanting for them at Christmas! Great stitchout.
Lol- I’m ahead of you. Before they all start ‘expecting one’ I told him I might take orders- that will curb it-lol
