Oh my gosh, this design and then doing them all at once like that. Ding Dong me brain never thought to use a bigger hoop and get more done at one time----great job.
Perfect stitching, Laura.......so excited for you....keep going and experimenting!!!
Great Job!!! You are going to love this machine. I am glad you got I and jumped right in. It is great the hoops are so big. You can accomplish a lot in little time... Have fun!!
Thank you, Suzanne - Thanks bunches for your encouragement!! I am truly loving this machine!! Hugs!
That is what I call "Diving in with both feet". The result is perfect. I am so glad you are enjoying your new baby and that you did listen to your husband 😉
Thank you, Angie for the kind words - I am happy that I listened to my husband too!! Hugs to you!
Wow! Laura, they look fabulous. I am sure the bride will be thrilled with all of these. Love Chris
Thanks Chris - I'm working on another "batch" right now. Enjoy your trip! Hugs, Laura
Great work on your new machine. My only tip for a multi needle machine is to check that the colours are going to stitch out in the correct order. By not doing so I had green faces...
Keep having fun and learning
That is good advice, Caroline! The first diamond I stitched out - was grey - so I had to I fixed the right color and had to stitch white over it. Lol, not good having a grey diamond!! Hugs, Laura
Well done, Laura... These look like grown up hand sanitizer holders... Love the design you chose for these... So glad you are having a good time with your new 'baby' and nothing like jumping in with both feet!
I believe the only difference between the two designs is that this one is a little more "fitted" than the hand sanitizer holder. I will make one for the bride - it says "Liquid Courage" - lol. I figured I may as well produce something I needed to stitch anyway. If I messed it up - then I would start again. I was lucky and I learned a bunch! Thanks Kim and Hugs!!
What a great project to do in that big hoop! Love the ring that you used too!.
I noticed something that looks like white tape on the top of the hoop on the project in the corner and side. What is that? and why is it there? Curious minds want to kn
Thanks, Penny! The white tape is medical tape - you can buy it anywhere a store sells band-aids. I "float" vinyl on top of the hoop and that vinyl was still rather curly - so I taped it down in some places. I used to use painter's tape - but, I like the medical tape a lot more. Hugs, Laura
Certainly - it is a very light tape - not thick and easy to tear with your fingers. I have reused pieces too.
They look great! Perfect design with the ‘bling’!
Hello Laura, work like a conveyor belt, only in this way you can do everything you have planned until the wedding. If you have a special project, you get to know your new machine best. At first it takes a little longer, but then you get the hang of it. Continue to enjoy your new machine, hugs Maria
Oh, Maria, thanks for the kind words. It did take me a little longer than it should have - and I did make one small mistake - which I corrected quickly - and, I did learn from it! Thanks bunches!!! Hugs, Laura
Wow! great job on your first big project. You really did jump in with both feet. And let me guess, you are loving that huge hoop!
Thank you, Karen. You are so right - that big hoop is amazing! Hugs to you!!!
