Hello folks,When we saw this design @Tattereds I knew I had to sew it .Do you remember the song You Are My Sunshine?Well as a child my Dad sang that song to me many a times .Man i miss him :(:(

I love this. This is one of the best sayings for a towel. Oh those memories of past are stiill with us today. My grandpa always sang Oh Suzanna to me.

Because I think that's where they got our names back then .He also sang My Carolina Sunshine Girl to me lol Yep the good old days .I cannot wait till we meet again . When the Roll is called up Yonder I'll Be there .(remember that song)

Yes, I remember that song. I love your memory. As a kid it was a favorite and I sang it also. ;-) It really brightened the day as I am sure it did yours with your Dad singing it to you, that is more than precious.
Of course you did a perfect job with the design.

Love this - love the colors and the song! When our 4 were little I designated an old song for each one of them. "You Are My Sunshine" was our oldest son's song. I always think of Alex when I hear that song! Hugs to you, Laura

Thanks for the heads up on this. I can only see your pics distance wise-some reason the images are not showing up when I click on them. I do love how you put that on the towel and the holder portion. Constant reminder of what precious memory you have of your Dad. I miss both my parents terribly. Today's generation just don't visit or if they do not often or are always on the run and gotta go. I remember coming home from work, husband still on his shift and I'd drive opposite way from going home just to have a visit with the folks--I don't play Bingo but at the time my mom went a few times with a sister so I'd go just to be with her. My kids generation just don't do those things and that saddens me. Good to have friends to talk to.
