I am blessed. All my children are within driving distance. All grands and great grands as well (One exception) Only one granddaughter does not live locally. Soon youngest grandson will leave this state as well. Going to Georgia Tech University. Still this Covid has hugely impacted our family get togethers. I am so sorry for the ones that had to do without hugs. Internet is just not the same
It is incredibly painful to hear of all the heartbreak this cruel illness is causing.......prayers and blessings on anyone who is missing contact with loved ones at this time.......
It is a troubling time in this old world. How heartbreaking not to be able to be with your precious ones. This "hugger" hates the way things are now.
How Chris finds her way home soon.
It is heartbreaking to me seeing families and friends missing loved ones for over a year now. And to be honest, my husband and I are in this group. We have no idea when or if we will see our families. I very much miss them. I think everyone is in this group.
I sure am in that group.
We have not seen our daughter who lives in Norway for almost 2 years. Last year my granddaughter broke a leg and two months later had her appendix removed and last weekend an 8 yr old boy bit her hand so hard two tendons in her right hand are damaged - because she told him he was not allowed to open the (high pressure) taps on the marina - and I would have loved to go and see her every time.
And the three children in this country I've seen only once or twice.
