Gorgeous Laura, mine are in hibernation at the moment and they are pink - Trevor bought the bush for me and didn't realise I don't like pink in my garden. My whole garden is purple, blue, yellow and white. I have two Crepuscle climbing roses down in the back garden which are an apricot/lemon colour, but everything out the front of our home are the colours I mentioned above. We, of course, down-under are in full winter and my Erlicheer Jonquils are in full bloom. I pick some every day and place them in my vases on my kitchen window sill, the fragrance is glorious. Love Chris
Thank you for this bright spot in my day! They are beautiful.
Oh my! All of the carnations and hydrangeas are gorgeous. It makes me miss my gardening days. Funny, I am hand embroidering a runner with hydrangeas. The pillow cases are already finished. Thanks for sharing your color with us. I'm enjoying it.
You should post a picture of your hand embroidered hydrangeas here so we can admire them! I don't have the patience to hand embroider - I am envious! Hugs, Laura
Gorgeous! It’s too hot here mine looks sick. I love flowers!!!
I love Hydrangeas. If you put them in a vase or container without water they dry beautiful. The great grands said the branch that broke of to hang upside down to dry. Unfortunately their gardener was not told about the project and threw it away. 😢.
This is a picture of the carnations I have growing in my yard. There is always one that has to be different
Great idea on drying Hydrangeas! Carnations are one of my favorites!! I just love them! And, your carnations are so lovely! Hugs!
These are beautiful too A, the different one must be like the ‘black’ sheep 🐑 .
Beautiful... I absolutely love Hydrangeas... mine have not done so well this year... I think it is the heat...
Here in Michigan, we haven't suffered from the heat. Right now, mosquitoes are out like crazy here. Certainly ruins going out an admiring flowers!! Hugs!!
Lucky you having hydrangea in your garden. Its a beautiful plant and the colour is usually interesting
Thank you, Caroline - seems so strange to have one pink bloom! It is a hardy plant - somehow, i have managed not to kill it! Loads of hugs, Laura
