I absolutely love this jacket! Wish I had one it’s so nice. I love denim. Someone that traveled with us before just called me to meet her. She had a roll of demon to give me (new). Yea! Said she took it didn’t know anyone who sewed & got it only because she remembered I sewed gifts for the bus trips. It was free to her so she gave to me. Really wide but not sure how much yardage is there.
Wow!! nice gift, I would love this also denim is expensive I think the cheapest is about $15 or $20.00 dollars a yard .
Looks like you have had a great amount of fun creating this super jacket
WOW! Jenne, your artistic flair once again grabs my attention. This looks absolutely fantastic. I love everything about your jacket and to re-use denim is masterful. Well done, love Chris
I am glad you like it, I Have fun doing this, knew what I wanted it to look like, just set about planning it to come out .
What a beautiful jacket Jenne! Love making items with recycled denim. If you lived anywhere near me, I would be taking lessons from you!

O'my what a wonder creation. I know this took a lot of planning. Curious, Did you create the fabric and then cut out or place fabric pieces onto your pattern to know where they would be located? (hope that makes sense). The front esp seems to me you had to place pieces to know.
However you created it , it is a beautiful, gorgeous, and fantastic jacket.
I did create the whole piece but still planed where the top and front should go, then put on my decorative stitches even which ones would show up the best and where and color of denim would be at, the collar is from an old garment also and it needed to make sure it fit the neckline, this part of the fun stuff.
Wow Stunning!!!Fantastic job well done!!!Love it!!!!
I thought of putting my name on the lower right corner, what do you think?
You are so clever to make this jacket from recycled pieces. I love the embroidery too. Wear it with pride.
Beautiful job, Jenne!
It did turn out nice took a bit of planning , like the heavy fabric (some denim is much heavier than others ) where the ease at the shoulder seam needs to be of a lighter weight than the body of the jacket and where the seam must come together etc.
Oh my goodness.....this is gorgeous!! I wish I Iived close to you so you could tutor me on making clothes.......your designing skills are so trendy...
How kind of you to say so, this took a while, I did not want any two colors close together, and I want my pieces some what larger than normal, so the jacket would not be so heavy.
I have recycled old jeans to bags, totes, pencil zipper bags, skirts and a lot more, but never tried a jacket. I love it! Great work!
Thanks you, a bit of work to tear or cut up old thing to get something new , But I was please with it even the collar is a redone
