I used to enjoy my finds at the thrift shops, before Covid. I would pick up toys for the little ones when they would come, Gus always would ask if I had a ‘prize’ for them. I don’t visit the shop anymore. When Covid hit they closed . I did see about 2 months ago they reopened in another location. It was a Baptist thrift shop.
This is non denominational church they have two shops in my area, and they use the money to buy food and give it to families, I know the Pastor and His wife they are good people they now are working on home for homeless kids not sure how old, they where giving and old house something about the Law in NC they had to buy it, so the people who wanted to give the old house (It needed fixing up) charged them $1.00 for a year.
Whoohoo, we all love bargains! Can't wait to see the wonderful things you will turn these bargains into.
Did you get embroidery supplies, beads, bangles, fabric, zippers, etc. or clothing to embellish? I know you maximized your dollars!
