This is such a memory fog question. What is the kind of fabric we have used in the past for some sheer designs. It's lightweight sheet, several colors, sometimes shiny... I just can't remember! Thanks to whoever has the brain power to remember!

Hi Jan, I'm with Barb and Judy, in agreeing that it is Mylar sheets. Hope to see what you are intending to make with it. Love Chris

Thanks everyone, I think it its organza. But I also love using the Mylar and this was more of a fiber. It just doesn't sound right. Thanks for your input! I am designing an "Ugly Fairy" for a friends daughter. It's hard to believe the is a fad. Just crazy. I wanted to use that fabric for the wings - and then rub shoe polish on them!

Shoe polish on wings? Please explain more about this! It totally befuddles me.

Are you thinking of Mylor that is put under a design to make it show up like Butterfly wings?
Otherwise I would think Organza.

Perhaps chiffon.
