Cushion for a friend Grandson. The fabric has more ‘texture’ to it than I usually embroider on but I thought I would try it out. It’s not the best bit of work that I have done. The design is from Embroidery Library and I added in Welsh the animal names. My machine has been on its holidays being given some tlc after this was made. My dealer was most unimpressed with my fabric choice 😂

I do not see a thing wrong with your work. Personally I like using different textures and embroidered on Burlap and upholstery material etc. I think your project deserves a "well done" comment

Sounds like your dealer need to learn to think out side HIS box ;-) It is a great design beautifully embroidered on wonderful fabric. I am sure the person it is gifted to will love it also.

My dealer is fantastic. The picture doesnt show all the lumps and bumps in the fabric. My machine wasnt embroidering too well as there were tension issues. Two days being cared for and its fine again. I have the habit of embroidering on whats in the sewing room and making do. I will drop it off with my friend tomorrow when I pass her house

I love it!!! It doesn't matter what the dealer likes or doesn't like, it's not his. I for one have seen some pretty ugly things made or on display in some of the shops, so to each his own!

The fabric was affecting the stitch quality. Not visiting other dealers I am clueless as to what is in them.
