I appolagize for not being on regularly and keeping up with what's going on with everyone. Do know that I keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers. I've been dealing with my Mom ( who just turned 88 a few days ago) About 5 weeks ago she felt a pop in her knee which resulted in lots of pain. While it was difficult for her to walk, it seemed to be getting better for a week or so. Then it started getting worse. Long story short after many Dr., orthopedic urgent care visits, and an MRI, they just discovered yesterday, that her tibia ( bone below the knee) had fractured just below the knee. It was caused by abnormalities causing weakness in the bone. Luckily it will heal without surgery, but is very painful. Because of her age, they cannot make her non-weight bearing, so it is very slow going with her walker and if I take her out, I try to get a wheelchair. I hope everyone is keeping safe. Hugs

Update: Mom is coming along slowly. Still in much pain when trying to walk but is a little better. Not nearly as much pain when she is just sitting. I did manage to get her out of the apartment last Friday to get her hair done. It was the first time in three weeks that she was able to get it professionally done. I didn't think my styling abilities where that bad until I received several hugs and kisses, got called a saint, and multiple thank you's for taking her to get her hair done. I tried LOL. I think that part of it probably had to do with getting out and talking to different people. Thank you for your prayers and support.

kustomkuddle I pray that the God of this universe, our triune God that we serve, the mighty physician touch your mothers knees with His love and the power of His words. Isa 53:4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
Isa 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

She is a trooper. Was fairly active up until this. Used a walker but was more for balance.
