Thanks for the update. Great news that your great granddaughter is back home though on medication
Our little baby girl got to come home last night. She was in hospital nearly a week. They weaned her from oxygen and even though her levels do drop some, they feel she recovers herself enough to be released. They sent her home with a nebulizer, and a Rx for Albuterol. Hopefully she will soon be able to not have to use them. But, she is 6 1/2 weeks old, and should have only been born 2 days ago.
Thanks for all the prayers. Hopefully we can keep these little ones healthy now.
Yes, thank you for the good news. I know she will be well cared for. These little ones are stronger than we realize. Hopefully she will recover fully very soon.
The stress of having a very sick child is enormous. Add the exertion of taking care of a 4yo to your day would be taxing for anyone. Prayers for all.
It has been a trying 3 days with a very intelligent, active little 4 year old. Tonight her Mama ( her mother's mother) and Papa have her. But she is not feeling all that good still, but wants to be active all of the time. Emilia is still in hospital, and each time they remove the oxygen her levels drop. This may take a little while, but she is in good hands. They are suctioning her quite often, and we sure hope she improves quickly.
Thanks for all of the well wishes and prayers...this little one needs it. She is just too small to be having to go through this.
Blessing to you all.
Prayers for little Emilia and her parents and especially for you!!! Hugs!
Oh no she is so young. Poor little thing. Asking our Lord to send the best qualified doctors to her side to help her to get better soon.
Praying ... touching and agreeing that God will grant you all a MIRACLE in which He can only do. He is ABLE!!! AMEN!!!!
Poor baby! I'm praying for her and you as you care for the 4 year old. Emilia is too tiny to have to deal with this.
Prayers are sent for you, your family and the girls!! Blessing to you all!
Prayers going up right now for her and the family. Strength and stamina for you too. Love Chris
I hate to know this especially because she is so little and young. Our greats, Rylan and Kinley had it a couple months ago. Stay strong and don’t let the 4 year old get the best of you!❤️Toogie
Oh dear! Awful news for you, your family and especially, Emilia. You know my prayers are going up as I type. I'm glad your 4 year old great grandchild has you to care for her during this scary and trying time. We know Emilia is getting the very best care possible and it can take time to wean a person off needing O2. So prayers for healing for her, and stamina for you caring for her sister, as well as strength and wisdom for her parents. Please keep us informed of little Emilia's condition.
Our little one is still in the hospital, and they are having to change her IV...she is starting to vomit after each feeding, but they are weaning her some from the oxygen. But this is a little one that wasn't even supposed to be born yet, and her little lungs were not completely developed at birth. This is a rough time, and momma wants to be home with her, but my daughter keeps telling her that Emilia is where she needs to be right now. They are calling in the pediatric RTs today, and they are evaluating her. Once she is removed from the oxygen they said that she will need to stay for 16-14 hours. We just need continued prayers.
