OMG, Jan......these are extraordinary....every one of them....and I love your little models playing on the quilt!!
They are tumbling right over their own design - two rag doll kittens. Glad you like them!
Jan, each of the quilts are wonderful! Who ever receives them will cherish them for certain! Just lovely and for such a good cause! Hugs to you and each member of the Sew and Sews!!
It really feels good to give them to people and they don't know which of us made them. It's a great feeling.
This is quite a selection of Quilts, I love each one. The receivers will be so happy. Thank you for continuing sewing for people that could use a quilt to keep them warm.
Some of them are really simple and people enjoy even the simple ones. They receive a warm hug with them! Thanks
I love, love, love what you are doing and all your beautiful Quilts! Thank you for showing us. My husband has been helping me all week long to cut precuts, from 2 1/2 inch all the way to 10 inch. I know we have cut a few thousand 2 1/2 inches, that I will turn into quilts. I think I counted a little over 60 (10 inch squares) we cut and I had about 75 we had cut, before this week. My drawer I keep them in is full so I need to start stitching.-lol-I love scrappy quilts!
Thanks, Toogie. Most of these took that long especially the ones of plain blocks. I've found most people are really impressed with even the simplest of designs. So much fun.
well what a great selection of quilts and good to hear that you enjoy making them, they all look so different
Thank you. I do enjoy making each one different. The pastel one with the kitties in the corners, though is the third for a family with three little girls. I am so happy to hear they are finished having babies. 3 kitty quilts all the same is enough.
Your quilt are all lovely. Hope all that receives them love them dearly.
Happy Stitching :-)
What a Gorgeous Selection of Quilts that is Soo Beautiful..Great job done
Your quilts are ntereting, diverse, and enjoyable to see! I have to say that your kitty one is my favorite as they each have their own pesonalities. It's great that your group give quilts to those who need something wonderful in their lives.
That's neat you noticed the different kitties. I tried to make each block do more than just present a cat, but to also tell a story. I'm so glad you noticed. I used 26 different cat fabrics. so much fun fo ra cat lover.
Wow, you sure have been busy!! So glad you can share your talents with those who need it.
Thanks for looking at all my work. It is so much fun to share my work.
I have no doubt your kindness and generosity making these beautiful quilts are bringing a whole lot of love into this world. You busy hands and cute kitties are special gifts in a sad and struggling world.
Thank you so much. There is a design I keep thinking I need to stitch out.." May the work of my hands be pleasing to you, O Lord."
Your quilts are beautiful! Thank you for giving your quilts to those in need. I especially like your Kitty quilt, so much personality.
Great quilts, you gave me an idea, I have the same cat pictures as you and always found them too small...now I know how to do it - thank you, your two sweet ones are great, love greetings Maria
Beautiful work all round Jan and I know they will all be cherished and loved. Love Chris
Thanks, Chris. I did hav fun making them. It is amazing how much people enjoy them. It is rewarding to hear how they like them.
I just wanted to tell you also on the Kitty Quilt... I used 26 different kitty fabrics to make the whole thing. Each block took me about 4-6 hours to digitize, stitch out and then remake for the ones that just didn't make it the first time. Now I need to add one more kitten to the Ragdoll kittens. WE got another one, 4 months younger. Bigger kittens are Jenni-Lee, Rocky Poppy and new little guy is Leo Lionheart.
