My DH bought Embird and plug ins for me last week from Secrets Of... I LOVE the program. I also have the tutorials Carolyn Keber offers (get them at Secrets Of too)... both written and video.
I recommend the extra purchase for these... tutorials will get you up and running in no time at all.
Here are free Embird lessons. And if you click on "Home" it will take you to the home page. Scroll down until you get to "Agree" or "Disagree" click on Agree and it will take you to Embroidery Draw where you will get more free lessons. Ricky.
Secrets of is the cheapest place to buy it & from where I sit some people have no problem picking up on it. Me I'm a little dense, or just plain too old, I'll take the time one of these days *4u Maria
I don't know anything about digitising but can recommend secretsof.com too, it's a great site to browse, there are tutorials too, happy hunting Jo
I bought embird from embird site but still don't use it to full extent. Would love to find someone to give me lessons. I learn quicker by seeing rather than reading LOL
Raels U r not the only one. I've had Embird digitizing SW since Christmas & Kebers tutorials also. Just don't take the time to learn it on my own. Had rather take a class but none available close to me *4U
I also recommend secretsof.com It has all the embird components and if you buy from there it is cheaper than the embird site and has all the tutorials as part of the deal. It is not too hard to learn, but the more you play with it the faster you learn. Good luck and have fun.
You will find all your answers on the site that Mickey (celticlady) gave you - good luck - I hope you have lots of pennies! *4U
I'm not sure how much it is right now. I have it and bought it from www.secretsof.com
I made the mistake of not buying the plugins and now have to save to buy them. They do offer a free demo download. Be sure and try everything out before you buy. And the site has great tutorials.
