Such wonderful news for Avery and the family. God certainly shines his lights when we all need extra. Prayers for those involved in the accident too. Our SIL was hit by a drunk, hit and run driver 2 weeks ago and his large dually pickup truck was totaled. My 5 yr old grand daughter is still having some nightmares, it was right at her side/door that the car went under and into the truck. Gods blessings and prayers because everyone is alright.
That is scary poor little girl. Mason was a passenger in his girlfriend’s jeep so they were high up from ground. The woman that ran the stop sign car went under the jeep too. Girlfriends little brother who is seven had been playing soccer and they were in a residential area almost home. Could have been much worse on a main highway and more speed. Scared Mason and he is much older than your grand. Hope the anxiety/ nightmares doesn’t stay with her.
My goodness how time flies! You have so much to be thankful! Avery is beautiful and so is Ashley. Hopefully Mason and others are fine. Take care of your back. Those new bolts of fabric can wait, and I look forward to what you will do with them when you feel better.
so glad for you God knows what we need always on time! lv
Toogie, this is such wonderful new and a great accomplishment. I'm so happy God made this possible. And so thankful you have a great team in the CLSSC being so supportive also at home. God has blessed you with darling Avery.
Yes He has, thank you. Avery looked so pretty today in her Sunday clothes. She had on a plaid skirt and colored stockings, red shoes and top, really cute. Wish I’d have taken a picture.
Naps are good for resetting the pain factor. Having Avery home is a wonderful start to the holiday season. Wishing you all the best.
So much going on in your life. I hope your back gets better real soon. I also hope that Mason gets over the concussion speedily. There are times when one realizes how fast time flies. I am amazed how grown up Avery looks. Love that red hair of her mother.
Isn’t that hair cute! Time does fly and Avery looks the teenager for sure. I can’t believe, I think she will be Sweet Sixteen in December!
I'm so glad for you all to have had such a wonderful place to support and help our beloved Cutie, Avery. And a huge welcome home for the entire family. That smile speaks volumes.
I'm so sorry to hear your family has had yet another scary experience. Poor Mason to have to suffer through the recovery of a concussion. I hope all is well with his girlfriend and her brother and hope he will recover quickly.
Now go rest that back. It deserves a rest as do you too.
I am taking it easy. I can’t believe I have not sewn anything in a week. Well, not exactly true. I did have to make & sew the labels on the children’s quilts to turn in. Anyway, I had 3 bolts of fabric that came in yesterday that all I can do is admire-lol
Hi Toogie, this is so beautiful, it brought tears to my eyes. I can't believe Avery has been there so long. And isn't Ashley's hair gorgeous?
Thanks for the PM, I'll go and answer you now. Love Chris
Yes, time seems to fly without us realizing. Since Avery was enrolled in the school & dorm, Ashley was able to get the lift installed for the bed and shower and now a better vehicle. It has a lift to roll Avery in without having to bodily lift her out of her chair and load the chair outside in the weather on an outside wheelchair holder( sorry, can’t think right now what’s it’s called) She is able to stay in her chair and now the chair isn’t exposed to the elements and they don’t have to lift her.
Welcome home Avery!!!! Toogie, please baby your back - its the best thing you can do for it. I hope Mason is okay! Bunches of hugs to you and your wonderful family.
Thank you Laura. Actually as Ashley stated Avery has been home the last year, she just had to officially discharge her. They could have brought her back to stay but then because of Covid couldn’t visit like they would like.
