I've purchased a lot of end to end quilting but have not tried it out. I am getting to where I don't want to do long tedious work anymore. Now trying to get all started and unfinished projects complete except where I find a short project I really want to do. It amazes me the time it takes to complete something like this. Bravo to you. It is a beautiful quilt.
Nice work. How long did the quilting take? I am wanting to try end to end quilting.
super job, love it, but my how many times you had to hoop, What we can do if we never give up congrads.
Wow! Beautiful work and now I know I will pay to have someone quilt my topper for me. Lol!
You did a great job! I'm still practicing the end to end and even tho mine is not perfect it is sure better than I could do free hand! If you can get a magnetics hoop it goes much faster than rehooping every time.
Love your colours!
I see you have hand basted, not used those awful safety pins, they are usually blunt, and leave holes in the fabric.
You have done a great job.
I used 505 spray between the batting/quit top and quilt back. The hand basting was used to keep my hoopings straight.
Wow! I think you may have set a record with 90 hoopings for one project! It sure looks beautiful and I love your fabrics. I’d like to know more about info on the label. Well done!
Well done, it looks beautiful and I know how you feel. I'm doing a 72 tile quilt all done in a 200x200 (8x8inch) hoop, but I'm not going to back it etc. I give that to my quilting lady and she will put it all together for me. I love your colours really feminine, love Chris, Newcastle, Australia.
P.S. Is your name Ellen?
No..my name is Lovelle. I hope you post a picture when you are finished. I would love to see it.
Well done...and good for your persistence in keeping on going!
Oh my. 90 hoopings? That is the time when it helps to have a big hoop. I have to admire you to do that on a 5x7 hoop. You did real well. I love the colors you chose and the tag is really sweet.
Since you used a embroidery hoop to do the quilting you could have posted this in project. I also deleted your post in Sewing since it will show up twice in Community. I am so glad you showed us wha you have stitched.
Thank you for deleting the other, I tried but could not figure out how to delete. Next time I will post in project.
Just for your info. You can not delete posts even if it is your own. You can edit but not remove
This is really lovely!! Sweet colors - beautiful quilt!! Well done!
