Hello Cuties! I started these Christmas Dresden plates for a quilt, but I changed my mind about half way through and decided to make these 2 runners. Hope you can see the quilting. I meandered or stipple quilted the circle center and in the white background. I straight stitched 1/4 in away from the Dresden and the little square’s seams. Runners are reversible. I don’t know which picture shows better, on the sofa or the floor😉

I hope all is well with all of you❤️-Toogie

Here is one of the runners I gave Carol on her island.
Read my response to crafters comment below.
She sent this picture when she got home.

Great job. Are both the same so you can have them for the big or the small table? I love the festive look you created.

They are the same. I already gave one away today to my friend Carol that just lost her husband & daughter. When we had our Show & Tell time I bought a runner along with the Skateboard quilt I turned in. We decided for our Dec meeting we wouldn’t exchange gifts but IF we wanted to, we could make a ‘door prize’. Carol voiced that I could bring the runner for a door prize. When my husband came for our awards ceremony I asked him if he minded me giving it to Carol because he help with the cutting & pressing seams. Of course, he said give it to her. She was moved to tears and sent me a picture of it on her island when she got home.

Thank you, these are my first time making the Dresden blades. Very easy, just double fabric my husband says.
