I like it. Something unusual. Hope she enjoys it.
Thank you. She has a whole collection of ugly fairies, and now her mom made her the quilt!
You were definitely successful in your creation...glad your friend and her daughter were pleased.
Yes, ugly but I am intrigued by your use or organza [organdy] I get those fabrics confused. I also love the background you chose. Those knobby knees remind me of 'me' or 'mine'. It looks kind of like the Simpson's wife/mother.
She accidentally ended up with the high hair. My hoop slipped and stitched that. I figured since she was supposed to ugly, the high messy hair would work okay. I like her knees too.
I love it! The face kind of reminds me of Marge Simpson! I love all of the details from her knees to her dress and heels!
That was actually an accident. My machine shifted and started sewing her hair up high... like Marge!
She is only ugly until her true love gives her a kiss. He also is a brave fairy.
Oh Oh Oh My, All I can say is you did it. The background is as impressive as the ugly fairy. Congratulations. And as you said the things we do for friends and family. ;-)
Wow that is for Sure One design of it Own!!!!Well done
You most certainly succeeded creating a ugly fairy. I am glad your friends daughter was pleased with it. I bet this was not the easiest theme to digitize. Great job
It was terrible to digitize. Those thick fairy wings needed to be free, not plastered down, so stitching it was a bear. It ws especially fun putting the hair on the legs, though!
Sort of gives her permission and acceptance to be whatever she is, or wants to be. I finally get this! You're a good friend.
