These are so delightful Toogie and I'm so glad to see Avery singing away too. I would have loved to gone to our kids' end of year activities, but they are only allowing one parent.
Ben's eldest boy Cooper graduated from Year 6 Primary school yesterday and had his formal night (12) and Aqualina (Dana's younger daughter) graduated from her Year 6 yesterday too. Aqualina looked gorgeous in Pink! Ophelie, who is the same age as Aqualina, is in year 5 and will go into Year 6 next year. Ophelie gets cross sometimes as Aqualina knows more than she does!! I told her not to worry she will catch up.
So happy for you and your family, enjoy this it's really special. Love Chris
The children all seem to be growing up so fast! Nora’s shoe size is larger than Avery’s! Ashley said Avery would be singing whether any of the others would or not-lol- we used to bring Avery home from therapy and have the radio on. She would ‘ sing’ (make a joyful noise) with the radio. We knew her favorites Kenny Chesney and Elvis!-lol
Sorry you couldn’t make it to the kids’ programs. Times are so different now.
A special day and memory for all. Often there is cause for a giggle like Improvised lines or forgetting them all together. My favorite is the frantic waving to family or friends in the audience that often happens. Just love watching children perform.
Yes, it was special. The only laugh I remember was when each group took their curtain bow at the finish. Joseph, Mary and baby Jesus was last. Joseph was supposed to hold baby Jesus up high above , but the way he was holding, if it would have been a real baby, it would have been killed right then!
Lovely memories. I miss having little ones to go watch their Christmas Programs. Hugs
I still have a picture that my wonderful Aunt Tess took of me as an angel during one of our church's Christmas pageants. So save these pictures! They are the sweetest. And, I like you, love to hear the voices of children singing!! Hugs, Laura
God surely enjoyed hearing this morning, these songs of praise, from these little voices! So sweet.
Glad you still have your picture after so many years.
These are the days that live on and on in our memories. Precious.
