UPDATE: For those of you who run Bernina software you are already aware that Bernina support sucks....sorry, but it is true! We have been working with a gal in Naperville IL and she is selling me Version 8 upgrade and then is going to apply that money to Version 9 when she gets it. Jim was able to load Version 8 Free Trial, so in the meantime that is what I am using.....as she is mailing me the upgrade so we don't have to make a trip to her store....Awesome! Thank you for all your advice, I so appreciate it!
OK my Bernina software peeps........need some advice. I always turn my computer off at night and fire it up in the morning......last night everything was working fine, when I fired up this morning there was an update that needed to finish so did the restart on that and now I cannot open my Bernina software.......other than Jim taking my computer back to yesterday, which comes with it's own issues, is there anything else anyone can think of. I am running version 7 of the Bernina software. When I click on the icon it just makes a dude noise and nothing happens, not even a circle thingy... ugh!!

11506Hi Vicki, if you can get your computer to run on 7 again, don't have it linked to the email, as windows will keep up-dating. Like benara says if you have a separate computer keep it on 7. I had the same problem with my software and now no longer have that computer connected to the internet. Hope this helps. Hugs from Maureen

234494Yes right, unfortunately the Bernina version will not run on 10 or eleven, I had the problem with other software. So they force us to buy an expensive update... or you have separately a computer that still runs Win 7....

Thanks......Jim tried to restore my computer back to yesterday when it was working, but my computer won't Uninstaller the windows update, reloading 7 may be our only option at this point ðŸ˜
