Check out a free program from Oracle called Virtual Box. You can load your windows program onto it and then your software and run it on your MAC. No partitioning or having to reboot. I almost bought new software which I really did not want until this came along. Hugs. Nan
Talking about being tracked. My laptop just updated to windows 11. I was fascinated by the following. I found some old photos I wanted to scan. That part worked wonderful but the photo editing program that windows provides now, needs you to go on line in order to save any editing you have done. It is ridiculous. Fortunately I am getting a lot better with my Mac. Just too bad that some of the embroidery programs I have will not work on the Mac. So I have My old laptop with windows7, never be allowed to go on line, a current HP that I have till I have learned all about the Mac. I will donate the HP to a family member in the future.
Another annoying thing with Microsoft is BING. Whenever I am not on line I will shut my internet down. Every time I log back on my computer either Microsoft or Bing reminds me that they can not go on line because I am not connected. Nice things is I can X them out before I turn on the internet.
HA ha I wanted to say something about the wonderful stash you were able to get, but went into venting mode instead. Enjoy your find.
At least your pop up ads are more interesting than mine. hehe It sounds like you got a great deal on all of the fabric. And it is interesting, where did all of the trims go? And no, I don't think you are greedy, just being efficient, wishing you could save some time searching for trims.
Apparently previous stitcher did upholstery as well as clothing and draperies. Got big scraps of a Waverly fabric that I am hoping to make a long robe from, may have to piece a bit but really gorgeous polished cotton. Also, two small very fancy silk pieces that I will turn into maybe six zippy bags for evening or travel. Several minute scraps of cottons for quilts. Etc. Etc. Then scraps of burlap and more.
