Just when I thought you health was in good condition, I was upset to hear that you now have to deal with this. You have had a lot of surgeries and have been strong and positive through it all. I am confident that you will find the strength to get though this too...with a little help from your friends and God.
Dear Vicki, you must be so tired of all this medical drama. I'm so sorry you've been hit with another round of not so good news. I hope this issue gets resolved without too much stress for you. You deserve a chance to just sit back and relax, though I know that is not your style. Prayers for you and your family.
That IS a bummer, Vicky! I have never heard of its, but at least there is a treatment. But this is. areal kick in the butt. Seems like you should be issued a break. We will pray that this is something that sounds much worse than it is. Love and hugs, jan
What the heck. You have had more than your share. Prayers for your complete recovery. Cyber Hugs and Merry Christmas!
Vikki I am so sorry to hear this. You will have all our prayers... Could this be from all the other surgeries you had on your nose.?? Maybe you need to catch up and you will be OK. One surgery takes a lot out of you multiply that by the number of times you had surgery.. Sounds like the doctor is on top of this... Please try to have a wonderful Christmas. We wish you the very best....Keep us informed we care Hugs Suzanne
Hi Suzanne......hope you are doing well and are low on fur babies right now....Yes, the blood doc is waiting to do any more testing for 3 months to see if these multiple surgeries and inflammation from the surgeries were to blame for all this.....I will have a wonderful Christmas as I have a deep faith in God, family and friends and I am including all you cuties in my circle of Family and friends!! I wish the Merriest of Christmas's for you as well....you have certainly had your challenges as well, my friend!! Much love........
Well, another challenge. My dad took iron infusions for almost 3 years weekly after he quit producing good blood after cancer treatments. They were ultimately successful. The doc wrote it up because it was the most persistent case of anemia he had dealt with. As I said, in his case it worked, just slowly. He was quite used to the infusions and just took them in stride in his schedule. I hope you get quick results from this first infusion and move forward. I know you have to be tired of meeting with and paying doctors. And the kitties need you at home!! Praying about this new medical thing, too.
Oh! Vicki, my thoughts and prayers go out to you. The iron infusions should help built up your strength. Thinking of you. Cyber hugs from Maureen
Vicki, I am so sorry to hear of all this. Prayers for healing. My head would be spinning around at this point. Take a deep breath and gather as much info as possible. Take care
You are so right, my head was spinning but Jim was with me and absorbed alot of what he said.....I will get through this!
Hi Vicki, I'd never heard of it either, so did a check. My prayers for you are to be at peace, knowing that this condition is in the good hands of your physician. Of course our greatest healer is Jesus, so please give this all over to Him. With all the prayers from your Cute friends you will feel the presence of God encompassing you. Keep your chin up, love Chris
Thank you, Chris, what a beautiful prayer! Was so disappointed as this was supposed to be my last appt with him, he was gonna cut me loose...shucks!
Vicki, I had never heard of it before - so I Googled it. Sounds as though your doctor is right on top of it. I would imagine the Iron infusion would help you with being tired and cold. Prayers your way - please keep us updated. Loads of hugs, please stay positive!! Laura
Trying to stay positive......I know that helps to be in a good frame of mind. I am doing my research and trying to see if there are things I can do at home to help.....thank you for your prayers, Laura....
Oh dear! I had not heard of this before so can't help you out with info. But I will certainly be adding my prayers too. Please tell us what you learn about leukopenia and what the treatment will be so we can keep our prayers up to date too. Wish I could give you a big but gentle hug, so know that you are wrapped in cyber hugs and prayers.
Basically from what the blood doc said yesterday, it is not enough white blood cells which makes me susceptible to infections and illness.....I have too many red blood cells which can cause issues with clots and strokes so he put me on a baby aspirin daily for that. The nurse will be calling me sometime today to let me know if he is going to go ahead with an iron infusion.....I am constantly exhausted and cold and it is probably because of what is going on blood wise right now. Your prayers are appreciated more that you know!!
Oh gosh Vicky. Just when I thought you would be on the way of feeling better. Continuing to pray for improvement of your health. Hugs
I know, right!! I am ready to show off my new nose but now have to hid away due to fear of infections.....no way....am not gonna let this get me down. With all the prayers headed my way, this will undoubtedly be resolved! Thank you so much for your prayers!
Lifting you up in prayer before the throne of Grace, and asking our Father God to keep His hand of protection on you. If you are a blood bought and blood washed child of God then the blood of Jesus Christ runs through your veins. Father we know that the blood of Jesus that was shed for us is pure, clean, and Holy. Father we ask that all fear and anxiety be defeated in her life, and that the Spirit of fear be trampled under her feet, Give to her faith to believe and conviction to stand upon Your Word, to trust in You alone we ask in Jesus Name Amen Thank You Father. basketkase, know how much God loves you. So very much that He died for You,
