One thing you may not know Maria, is that you can purchase each part separately. (Embird calls the various sections of the program, Plug-ins.) When you download the free trial, you get access to every plug-in. So after your free trial period expires you can register (pay for) only those plug-ins you can afford. Firstly there is Basic Embird, which contains, Manager and Editor, then there is Studio (Digitising Tools) with Sfumato; then Cross Stitch; then Font Engine; then Iconizer; then all the various, separate (pre-digitised) alphabets. If you purchase through Secrets of Embroidery you will pay a reduced price for each part, plus, you get a set of free designs for every purchase over $30, plus you earn Secrets dollars to credit towards other things on their site.
