I am looking for the colour of Madeira Rayon 1217. I have been searching various files - with no luck. None of my threads are Madeira so I am hoping that a kind Cutie may just have that colour thread and would post a picture. I could then possibly match it to one of my many threads.

I think you can use a conversion chart. I don't know what brands you have but I googled "Madeira thread conversion chart" but I don't know how many are free. You could use a conversion that works either to or from Madeira.

That is what I found and thought it far too light for a fox

Try gogling Allthreads which sells Madiera threads. This company only sells machine embroidery supplies so they would have this color, I am sure. And best of all, they would have a picture of the color since they show each color by number. Hope you manage to quickly find what you need.
