Congratulations on your being celebrated so well. It's nice that we are returning to being able to have intimate groups and your birthday sounds like a bang up time! Start planning for next year!
Thanks for the advice on starting planning ahead. Will plan husbands birthday and our Wedding Anniversary first I think. That then gives lots of time for the forward planning
WOW you really did it up right. Great photo!
Thanks and I have no idea who the photographer was, he kindly offered as he walked past
I have just had a chance to read this and it sounds like you had great celebrations with your wonderful family and friends!!! I think when we begin to get together again, it is even sweeter than ever before. We don't take for granted when we have a chance to be together again!!I am so happy you were able to do this!! Bunches of hugs!! Laura
How wonderful Caroline. I love extended Birthday celebrations, I think we need more days to celebrate our arrival into this world, not just one!!!
Lovely to see you all, it must still be chilly there as you all look rugged up! We of course are nearing the end of summer, but it's still stinking hot. I can't wait for Autumn and the cooler weather. Love to you all Chris
I'm delighted to hear that you had a grand time celebrating. You deserve it after being in lockdown so much. Feel free to keep celebrating for the next month.
How nice to have so many celebrations, especially after the last two years!
Definitely made up for lost time. I love my home but also enjoy the company of friends and family
How delightful to have so much celebrating. A nice looking group in the picture, including the cute doggie. Glad you had some joy in your celebrating. I've always said when we reach retirement age we should get to celebrate every 1/2 year and told my sweet neighbor Jackie who is 93 that she should get to celebrate monthly! Actually she does celebrate quite a bit, as I discovered when I helped reset her kitchen after her recent fire and repairs. She keeps quite the stock of alcohol for each of her friends that come to visit. Doesn't like margaritas but keeps the glasses and (salt?) etc. for making them for her friend. Always offers me wine and I'm a teetotaller. I prefer sweet tea, house wine of the South!
Your neighbour Jackie sounds great and maybe when older will follow her celebrations for myself. I am on the tea or coffee as alcohol and I no longer agree with each other.
I am so glad to hear that you were able to be surrounded by family. You sure knew how to stretch the celebration into days. Good for you. Thanks for the picture. Love it.
Dont think that I will be able to stretch the celebrations so much again but it has been fun
