Great way to recycle. I make bags from Kool-Aid jammers. Kids like them for school things. Happy Stitching :-)
I had to look up Kool-aid jammers. Next time you make one, please post a picture, I would like to see your bag, I can imagine they are very cute.
A great looking bag "for Him". Would work for grocery bag for all of us. I'm too lazy to sew, but I have recycled some of my plastic cat food bags by stuffing them with 3 stacked stadium cushions (live near a college football town). Use these as kneelers in the garden. I've told several gardening buddies about this and save bags for them.
That is a good idea. I might try that with the dog food bag and an old pillow. Thanks for the tip.
I have an old bed pillow that didn't make it to the garbage this week. Let me know if you are interested.
I have small bags to do this with, however yours is so good, I may need to save a larger bag.
Do you have a pattern or did you just wing it? I'm intrigued.
No pattern just winged it. If you are interested, I will be glad to share how it is made. I am still trying to figure the best way to make a bag from the top half.
I would, but the way things are going, I will probably never get around to it. Thanks for offering though.
