My boys did like 50 years ago .But we had no glow in the dark thread then .They just like spider man and more cartoons guys .

Nice job! The children will love them. I have some glow in the dark thread but never used it.

They look great and these boys will love them. Nope that thread isn't as non expensive as it used to be. Everything in price has risen so much you have to keep whatever we do. Shipping is so much too. I told hubby I had to buy a pkg of serger needles at the sewing shop where the club is and he said why not order---I told him shipping cost makes them way more expensive. These are great gifts for the boys.
