I am so sorry about your arm! Your quilts turned out so beautiful and your family will enjoy them for many, many years! Prayers for a speedy recovery!
Thank you Lori, I hope to recover fully so I can keep quilting and other things.
Love the quilt, but I love you more. I’m so sorry that your arm is broken. I am praying for a speedy recovery with no damage. You have too many quilts left yet to make.
I sure do! My head is full of ideas-lol-with healing from the good Lord I hope to withstand therapy bc I want to fully regain my use. I could not lift my arm at all, not a good feeling. Love you too girl!
I do hope it heals by itself.... I recognize those jelly beans!
Yes, dear friend I want to tell everyone that you made my placement line and highlight for me from my tracing. Don’t you think they came out cute!
Just heard I can continue to wear the brace/sling for a month. I really don’t want surgery but I also want to be able to use my arm!
Toogie, my heart and prayers go out to you. I am glad you were able to attend the parties. The pictures are great, and that jellybean quilt is absolutely adorable. Heavenly father, please watch over Toogie and help her heal and be pain free, Amen. Sending soft hugs, Suzanna.
Emily wanted a quilt for Declan and I showed her the tumbler top I had just finished. I also showed her a photo of the jellybean quilt. She at first said the tumbler but changed her mind when shown the picture of the jellybeans. She asked me if it would be ok and I said yes because one would be for Declan and the other for donation. It made me no difference as I was gonna make the jellybean anyway. I think it reflects Dex’s temperament as he is a happy, cheerful baby. I may do something on the reverse side if I use the yellow on back. I have more than a month to decide.
You poor thing, you must have been in agony. Thank you for the lovely pictures.
You’re welcome Sarah and agony is the perfect word. I had six grownups in my bedroom wanting to help me up and me screaming don’t touch me. I had to hold my left arm that was broken, with my good right arm. I told them I’d try on my own and I really don’t remember how, my son was on the right side of me, but I got up then nearly passed out. I just couldn’t stop the moaning and the tears. I’m glad the little ones had just left because they would have been frightened, I’m sure. Poor hubby was so nervous he couldn’t make a phone call. He had tried to get me seated but laid me back down because I felt faint. He finally managed to call our son.
It's so good to hear from you. I was praying for you last night, so this is my answer to my prayers. Keep healing and enjoy each and every milestone of your loving family.
Thank you Karen, last night was the first night I didn’t take any pain medicine but I didn’t sleep well. I needed to get up in the night & I called for hubby numerous times but he never heard. I got up on my own but I was careful.
I love spending time with the family. The little one,Declan, is so lovable and happy all the time. We believe Dawson may have autism. They are having him tested, because he exhibits a few of the traits.
So sorry to hear about your bone.. Prayers it heals quickly.. So cute thanks for sharing the pictures of Dalton He is a cutie!! Take care... Suzanne
I believe you meant the baby, Declan but I do agree about Dalton too-lol- Dalton is the daddy😉😀
I hope I can heal without surgery and still have full motion, thanks.
Lovely pictures. Thanks for sharing.
Hope you do not need a Op and heal on it's own. Hugs
I hope so too, Shirley. Glad you like the pictures. I think they are make a cute family.
I am so sorry to hear you are hurt. I looks like it may hinder some things, however not parties! Lol! Prays for your complete healing.
Love these pictures, your kiddos know how to throw fun parties!!! I am happy that you are making some progress since your fall. Broken bones are not fun! Your doctors will take good care of you!! Let us know what they decided!! Loads of hugs to you, Laura
Thank you Laura. Dalton took me in his big building and showed me all his racing trophies. One for sure had to be 5 foot tall because he is about 6 foot and it was a little under him.
Oh Toogie I am sorry to hear your heath problems but glad you were able to enjoy a party. Don’t need to say take care and delegate because I know you are.
I enjoyed getting out and visiting with both sides of the family. The adults could talk in peace because the kids were all in and out of the jump and slide they rented.-lol
My oldest daughter had finally chosen her line of fabrics for her quilt and I have her down to two pattern choices. Now all that will have to wait and hopefully when recovered I will be able to use that arm again.
