Cuties, my 8 year old grandson's Englsh home work had this for him to describe, "a school" and his answer, "Seven cruel hours of our lives. I just had to share LOL

Your grandson sounds like he is full of fun like our Gus (and me!) Hopefully, he didn’t shock his teacher with this answer and only told the ones at home this!-lol

We'll hope this is just a sarcastic day or phase, but parents should confirm by observations that he is not being bullied at school.

I too, as a retired teacher, find it sad that your grandson finds not one shred of happiness, but I commend him for his honesty. I hope and pray he does find something positive soon.

Ladies, I do know that he is happy in school but he just might have been in a bad mood at the time!!

As a retired teacher I find his comments very sad and it makes me wonder just what is happening in the school he is in. Many children usually find positive comments
