Thank you all for the fantastic birthday wishes. I have not been here for about a year or so. Not been an easy year. My son was t-boned at an intersection by someone running red light. Totaled his car. He is having severe shoulder and knee pain. Going through physical therapy and tryng to heal enough for surgery to try to repair damage. I had meniscus removal in right knee, physical therapy, new surgeon, then total right knee replacement. Doing great until all got covid and it settled in my knees. Been a month now and still very swollen and achy. Last week my younger sister was diagnosed with 2 different breast cancers. Different one in each breast and it has spread to left lymph nodes. She was told left breast cancer is very mean and aggressive. She is scheduled for infusion port to be put in Friday and then the oncologist will see her and let her know what her treatment will be. Coming here today and finding these kind wishes was a very bright spot in what has been a difficult year. All in all, I am blessed with my son and daughter checking in on me every day. I also have a thoughtful daughter-in-law and three amazing grandchildren that I get to see every day. Some times I think too much about what has gone wrong and not enough on what has gone right and all I am blessed with. Thank you again, hugs and blessings, Barba
