Very lovely "little something", know she loved it as the idea and vinyl is so pretty, the added charm and tassel, perfect touch. Great job and thanks for telling where you found it.
Love that vinyl too plus that design is very cute. I'd like to find some cute and pretty vinyls that aren't expensive on the web.
I purchase most of my vinyl on Amazon and My Punk Embroidery. Just search for Faux Leather on Amazon. Thanks bunches!
I've not stitched anything with vinyl, do you have any tips? Cute and useful gift!!
I use a regular needle 75/11. I do try to stay away from thick vinyl. This holder has three pieces of vinyl (front, back and the pink to hold the bottle in). The first piece is stitched on top of the stabilizer, The second piece is stitched on the back of the hoop and the third smaller piece is stitched on the back of the hoop later too. With three thicknesses of vinyl - you'll find the vinyl on the back of a hoop will tend to drag on the bed of the machine. So, I float wax paper in-between the back of the hoop and the machine to keep it from dragging. I hope this makes sense. It is a tip I read about and it helps! Oh, and I do slow the machine down. Hope this helps and hugs to you.
Well done Laura. Love the vinyl you picked and the very practical gift. I am sure it was appreciated.
Thank you, Angie! I have a hard time meeting friends and family empty handed! She did like it - bunches of hugs to you!!
Great job...and I love the little dragonfly charm!
Kim - thank you so much! You have a good eye - I need to use charms more often! Hugs!!
