Hi Cuties! I’m not the one venting here, but hubby was. We went an hour away to town, to all the lawnmower places to get a part he needed for his lawnmower. Actually, he lost two washers and the nut that holds the pulley on. Well, no Hustler dealer anymore locally and all said you’d have to get it directly from Hustler dealer. 🙄 So I got online and googled. Found germanbliss site. Found the parts needed. Grayson came and ordered for us before he left for vacation. Parts were $6.
Reason hubby and Grayson were complaining, shipping was $16!!!! I told them look at it this way. We couldn’t drive to Illinois for $16. What else can you do? You have to have the part.We have been getting a lot of rains and sure makes the grass grow and he likes keeping it up, thank goodness. The rains beat my flowers down, because some of them were really hard rain, thunderstorms. Had to choose a smaller size picture and loaded sideways. Sorry- Clicking on it may bring it upright.

Your Irises are gorgeous, I just copied it and then rotated the picture. Your garden looks so pretty in Spring. We are in Autumn and as I sit here we've just had a heavy downpour - only 5 minutes!!
It's 8.30am Tuesday and I'm just off to collect Mum to have her 4th Booster for Covid and her Vitamin B12 needle. Then a new haircut, something she can manage a bit easier, I hope!! Love Chris

Your mums not the only one needing a haircut. I have been cutting mine since Covid began but now I can’t raise my arm high enough. I tried to fix it yesterday with the flatiron but doing the crown and back of my head was impossible. After I did as much as I could we went to Marsha and Richards to eat. It it hadn’t been dark and mosquitoes I was tempted to get in their pool to maybe exercise my arm. I go back to dr tomorrow so I will let him set me up with PT since this time is hectic right now for Ashley. If I wait on her I will have frozen shoulder!

Hey, sleep sounds good. I have played musical beds the last two nights and watched a movie too during the night. Have just not been able to rest.
Thank you about the yard. Hubby keeps them up, thank goodness. I don’t even know how to start or drive the mower, so you’re doing good.

I relate with the story as its something that often happens to us ordering on the internet. Sorry to hear about the rains, its annoying when heavy rain flattens our flowers after we have spent ages tending them.

Hubby hasn’t thought of the gas he spent running around trying to find the part, though. He is still the old guy that change is hard for. He likes to SEE in person and make sure it’s the same part as his. Hopefully the parts that just were delivered are correct or then I may, no will, hear more grumbling because I was the one located them- oh well he will just have to suck it up-lol

Yes we do need the rain. We weren’t able to plant a garden because ours held the water but may be between the kids and friends we will get something fresh.
Yeah, I thought that would shut them up about shipping but I still heard SIL says no sense shipping be more than small parts. Oh well
