Hope you continue to heal and wishing a speedier recovery for you... good luck on your move!
How exciting for you. I wish you felt better so the preparation for moving wouldn't be so hard. What are you going to do for a Kitty room? I would worry about them getting out and trying to return to their own home. I'm sure you will make sure they are secure. Who is this sweet lady?
We had a sunporch built with them in mind...we will have their kitty towers, beds, toys, food & litterboxes in there waiting for them....this is Maxine in the pic...
How exciting, I love moving and clearing out and relocating. Have done it many times. I do hope your move will be smooth and that your cats will transition easily.
I hate having to do all the internet things, like setting up your computers etc. but you will get it done.
Take it easy on your healing process too, those weird feelings are annoying but it means things are coming back to normal. Good luck with everything Vicki and I'm continuing to pray for you. Love Chris
Yea on the healing. I'm so sorry you are feeling creepy crawly tingles from the healing nerves though. I'm glad you are giving yourselves another month before the move. I know you will have your hands full between now and then when it arrives. Wise thinking to set up the cat room before the fur babies arrive. Be sure to include Louie's favorites of glue and paper too. In the meantime, keep purging and keep healing. And we will understand when you can't do much posting.
Moving is no fun, that's for sure. I still have 6 big boxes unpacked in my garage from my last move 13 years ago. I suspect they are full of yarn. Obviously I do not miss the content. I wonder how your 4 legged buddies will deal with all that.
My eyesight is suffering so as I was reading your post, I thought I read that Jim is going to the veterinarian clinic. Made me laugh at myself after rereading that part. Getting old is no fun either.
Vicky I pray that the healing will speed up which probably will increase the creepy crawler feeling. Also I pray that the move will go smoothly.
Stay safe.
Thanks for the update. Exciting and challenging time all at the same time. You sure wrote yourself an interesting script. Wishing you the best.
Packing and sorting and unpacking is NO fun. I can’t imagine moving all my ‘stuff’ or adapting to a new place, although it could be exciting. Maybe I’ve just gotten too old and don’t like change. I’m more of a homebody so if the house is comfortable and surrounding are peaceful I’m happy and content. I hope you are as well in your new place. I wish you well in your new home.
No, Vicki, moving is not fun - no matter what way you look at it. Plus, you still have a way to go before you are healed - which make things even more difficult for you. I continue to send prayers you way. Concentrate on one day at a time!! Bunches of hugs to you! Laura
Lovely to hear from you. Surgery takes us all differently but glad your slowly healing and becoming more of yourself. I am curious about the cats decompressing when you move
