In my area Veterinarians are turning down injured animals because they are overwhelmed and do not have enough supportive staff. It is so sad. Costs are climbing also. My girl will evtl need a hip replacement and the cost was already astronomical.
I know, it is just an awful situation that I never thought I would see in my lifetime.....I feel so badly for everyone, including vets, staff, patients, pet parents. animal shelters.......it is just so overwhelming. I pray all will go well with your girl🐶
Awww, they are cute! Blessings on Andi for taking on these adorable kittens. And blessings for you and Jim for footing the bill. BTW, where's the update on what the doctor had to say during your appointment?
I forgot to tell you all......I have expected edema and a bit of bony growth but nothing like before.....my main nerve in my face is fully in tact, the nerves that branch off of the main nerve were disrupted and that is why I have all this numbness until they heal which could take months. I am moving air now in both nostrils, but because the right nasal passage is numb I am unable to feel the air and until all the nerves settle and regrow, I won''t realize I have air moving in that nostril. He is gonna do a video visit with me in AR in August just to make sure I am progressing as well as I am now......the shooting pain am getting in the numb areas are the nerves waking up....so all in all a great report!! Thanks for asking, Karen 🥰
They are cute! Such a shame about the operations. Our vet gave us a group discount when we took our girls in.
Just a stray thought, are there cheaper prices or concessions for those who rescue ferals in Arkansas? It is a Southern state. I was amazed how much cheaper it is in Alabama than it was in metro Atlanta. Might be worth the trip and adopt them out, there.
Wouldn't matter as we will have our hands filled moving 7 cats and don't have the stamina to move 2 additional kittens, so we will pay this to keep our sanity🤪
It is not always the money that is missing, often also the insight that it is better for the cats and so much suffering is avoided. Nice that you care, all love Maria =^..^=
