Both are amazing! I love the tumbler and as you know I am progressing slowly to making my tumbler quilt. I will most likely save it for the winter sewing projects. I so much enjoy your posts. Still sending prayers for healing, Suzanna
Winter is a good time for sewing…actually any season is a good time for me to sew-lol Thanks for everything-Toogie
These are really lovely. I've never tried ruler quilting but just don't think I could handle or hang onto those acrylic rulers while trying to keep my foot and needle where it needs to be. That is like rubbing the tummy and tapping your head at the same time for me. I can do it but eventually my brain and age takes over, lol.
You did make me laugh. It does take some doing to hold the ruler while moving the quilt around, that’s why most of my quilting is free motion stippling. Thanks for looking!
Any child is going to fall in love with that bright cheerful and filled with love quilt. Kudos to you for using your quilting as therapy for your arm. Your eagle quilt for a Veteran brought a smile. My husband just had a very large decal of a similar eagle placed on our travel trailer. It has the words In God We Trust on the ribbon in its claws.
I didn’t choose this eagle panel. It was passed on to me by another quilter. Actually it’s the same lady, Lynn, that quilted it when I got the top made. I wasn’t crazy about the dark colors and thought the red & white stripes would help brighten it up. I sent a photo to the lady that mailed me the fabric for the childs quilt and she loved how it came out. I told her we made a great team -lol Thanks
Wow, these are all gorgeous. You amaze me with how much you get done, but please take it easy. Love Chris
Blue and purple are my favorite colors. I love all the fabrics you used in your quilt. It makes it another cheerful one. Job well done
Another beautiful masterpiece!! Well done and by the way, I love the blue - just perfect! Hugs!
I have used the blue on my Skateboard throw quilt , the Lonestar 60x80 and the Prairie Flower queen. It’s 108 inch. I may have done more with it but can’t think if I have. Thanks
