Gosh Carolyn you don't half make some different things do you? Ten out of ten for constantly making different things and taking on the challenges that come your way
Did you use wash away stabilizer to support the mesh fabric while stitching the seams? I've had to do that on some of the wimpier fabrics I've stitched. Looks like it turned out just fine. You always do such nice work.
I sure could use one with the way the flies around here love me when I garden or just walk in the yard certain times of the year. I always wondered how the people up north or other countries where I see flies on their faces or other bugs flying around aren't wearing more of these or the hats with nets. Thanks for the info. Don't think I'd attempt it. I don't need another sewing problem, lol.
I've never heard of a bug jacket, although it might be useful here, with all the mosquitoes. I agree with Kim. You are asked to do some unusual things. Good job!
Yikes! I have never heard of a bug jacket, but it looks like it would be very useful if you are in a "buggy" area! You tackle the most unusual sewing projects.....
Well said and yes i do .I always say to John what next will be asked of me lol xxx
Humm, looks like your post was moved to sewing. You did a great job making this bug jacket. I would never attempt! I could have used it when the Pirate Gnats and a tick decided my neck and hair line was their lunch! I took antibiotics and used lots of apple cider vinegar on the bites. I will let you know if I need one, just kidding! Thanks for all you do for others, Suzanna
