Thank you to let us know, glad you and family are OK. Hugs Roberta
Glad you are okay... we sure could use some of that rain here....
Hi Kim, yes, I saw down in Angie's post that she is needing rain too. Australia's east coast has been inundated most of this year due to the La Nina event. We will get through it, love Chris
Hello down there, glad to hear you are OK, wet and dreary up here.
It is show time this time of year and often the weather can be uncertain.
Cheryl
Hi Cheryl, glad to hear you are ok albeit a bit damp. That's one of the things I don't like about the rainy weather is drying to get your clothes dry, We have little pots of Damprid in the wardrobes as the air is full of moisture and if you aren't on top of it, mould occurs. Love Chris
So good to hear from you and that all is well. Please continue to stay safe, both you, Trev and all your family! Hugs, Laura
Thanks Laura, yes, we are lucky that we live close to the beach area, so there are lots of sand dunes before us and the ocean. Little rivers, streams etc, though are becoming torrents of running water. It's stopped raining as I write this, and it's so quiet! Mind you it's 10 in the evening. Love Chris
Been thinking of you and yours a lot during these rains. Prayers.
Thanks Betsey, yes, we definitely need prayers. Some of our local towns are cut off as they are flooded. It's just so heartbreaking to see. Love Chris
I am glad to hear from you and know you are OK.
What you have too much we, we have to little. 3rd year of drought. Stay well and dry,
Hi Angie, yes, it's always that way isn't it? Once we get to Spring and the weather starts to warm up we'll be complaining of how hot it's getting. Summer, well, I don't want to even think about it. Love Chris
So happy you are all Ok... we call these kind of storms Nor Easters. .. This time of year we get Hurricanes. Nasty weather is affecting all parts of the world. Keep dry and Thanks for letting us know you are OK. Hope all the other Aussie cuties are fairing as well. HUGS
Thanks Susanne, yes, those nasty storms in the USA are frightening. Mother nature is not happy! Love Chris
I'm glad to hear you are okay. We need rain right now and you are right about it messing up the farmers. That will mean in the end we will all pay for the rising cost of crops that 'may' produce. It's not cheap to plant a garden but we all need to consider doing our part. The weather played havoc with us trying to plant this year but one of our son-in-laws and grandsons had their first vegetable gardens and both did extremely well.
Yes, I've seen the fruits of their labour and it's great that they got their produce picked. Our fruit and vegetables are at exorbitant prices, but what with the weather, the strikes, the ships not docking, the Russia/Ukraine war causing havoc, everything basically, you got to pay higher prices. Love Chris
I saw pictures of the flooding in Sydney, so I am very glad you checked in. I hope our other Aussie Cuties also let us know they are OK even if they are not affected. This worldwide weather cycle is causing such havoc around the world.
You got that right Karen, it's been the most weird weather downunder this year. Hoping La Nina doesn't last too much longer, love Chris
Great to hear from you! Not sure what that weather is called in the states. When I get bad weather, I am busy going from window to window checking the sky, not that it does any good LOL. Do you get tornados? Of course, my machines are unplugged during bad weather. Actually, a nasty storm is flying through as I type. Stay dry, stay safe. Hugs Suzanna
Hi Suzanna, no we don't get tornadoes here in Newcastle, but there are about 60 a year mostly way out in the bush. You poor Americans get so many, it's heartbreaking to see the devastation they cause. Thanks for your concern, love Chris
