Hi gals, I heard from Mum last night and she is having a lovely time over in Tumby Bay. She tried telling me all the things that had happened so far and Jewls “helped” her to remember. I’m so glad she is with someone all day. It takes a huge load of my mind.
In the meantime my kitchen smells like a florist shop. I’ve picked, since the 14th July 11.5 dozen Erlicheer Jonquils. I’ve still got loads to pick, so I’ll beat last year’s quota of 12 dozen.

By living daily with her dementia, it may help to relieve any doubts either of you may have about placing mum in a facility. Best wishes to all three of you.
