Great job, Carolyn... you are such a good Great Aunt!
Oh my goodness, you did persevere and it looks great. Glad you are another quilt down. Poor me and my serger project at club yesterday. You don't want to know.
looks great, someday I'll try it too, some patterns I have already bought "stock" - LOL
Whatever you do always looks great Carolyn. I'm sure it doesn't matter where you start. I think as long as you can roll it up as you sew would help. On reflection, I think starting in the centre and work outwards would diminish a lot of scrunching up of the fabric. I hope you understand what I mean. I'm sure there are a few YouTube videos on how to do this. Love Chris
Yay! A finished project, and a gift at the same time! You did a good job!
With regard to your quilt question, I don't think it matters where you start, or where you put anything. There are no rules and no quilt police. You can make up the rules as you go along.
I start my quilting dead center of the top, and work my way out. And sometimes I put the label on the front and other times on the back. The quilt usually tells me where it wants to be. :)
