AMAZING!!!- love all the designs and the fact that you digitized some is amazing. Love the lining fabrics too. Great job!
Thanks, Toogie, It means a lot coming from you! It was fun and a challenge, but I just don't make things for myself.
This is awesome!! You have such talent!! Hugs, Laura
Thanks, Laura, everyone in this group amazes me with all their talent.
Such a great memento!
Thanks Mops, I am so glad I've learned to digitize it just opens up our world.
Great bag-wonderful memories!
Thanks, It really was an amazing trip. Every mile in the desert presented a brand new site.
Excellent designs! I love the front especially Mesa Verde.
Thanks, Christine, Lemon Drop is the name of the BX font for Embrilliance. Mesa Verde was one of the hardest, but the hardest was Royal Gorge, trying to get that line to look like a bridge. Let me know if you'd like to use them. I have a neat appliqué of Colorado too. It took me a while to learn Embrilliance, and I'm still learning, but I'm finally at the point where I can almost everything I want .
What a great memento you have made...
Thanks so much! I didn't realize I'd be able to use it for other things.
I love it I think it turned out great thanks for sharing with us.
Hi Jan, this is great. I've done one of my travels in Europe but it's not as big as yours. Yours is full of memories too, well done. Love Chris
P.S. I loved all your pictures you posted.
Thanks,Chris, it really was an amazing trip. The drive was as much fun as the Grand Canyon. Beautiful things around every bend. We traveled through three Indian reservations and that was interesting too. We at at a Navajo trading post and had huge Navajo tacos.
Totally awesome bag! I'd love to do something like that, but first, I need to do the traveling which I would also love to do. I love the fabric too.
Thanks, the back has mostly local places, that didn't take much traveling. Some to those places were 30 years ago. It was fun and I really could have included even more.
What a fun memory bag! It is worth all the time it took to make, good for you to get it done.
I was really wondering if I would actually get it finished in time. I had other things I should have been doing, but mostly I was so excited to go, I just kept thinking or that. Thanks
Beautiful work and I hope it brings many happy memories as you use it. Great look on the fabric choice, too.
What wonderful memories you must have from your trips. I think you had a good idea to make this bag and it came out great. I hope you have many more trips and memories to make.
Thank, Karen, I have a feeling this will be our last big trip. Willie has Parkinson's and he's going downhill with the physical things. I think we'll probably do some day trips through. Do you get away much?
Jan this is stunning work and must have taken you ages to create but well worth the time you put in to it. Now enjoy using it and remembering your great journey. 20 out of 10 for your work
Thanks so much, Making each design took from 2-4 hours and then there was the stitching. But, sometimes it's just fun taking time to do what you imagine. Thanks for the 20!
